The Last Word!

They say the average man speaks about 7,000 words a day, and that the average woman speaks about 20,000 words a day. So, does that mean; that the woman should always get the last word?

I have a Q &A for all the men, as a man should you:

A) Stay single, just so you never have to give a woman the last word?

B) Except, that a woman has more on her heart to say. Listen attentively, decide within your own heart; that you will love her unconditionally?

C) Let her express her heart, as you just nod and agree… with the clock; that it’s ten minutes to midnight. But you’re still willing to wait patiently, for her to reach the 20,000 words; so you can finally get some sleep?

D) Never give up the fight, never give in to the stats. After all, men love to gamble; with so much to lose. Argue your point, the stats will never show; that bitterness was never factored, into the end of the equation. Was that part of the gamble, or just one of the emotions; that was worth the gamble?

E) Do you study her heart, learn her love language. Do you try to show a little tenderness, so both of you; can truly connect on a deeper level?

As men, we may never be able to fully understand women, or speak 20,000 words; in a given day, and that’s okay. Back in the day, you would be lucky to get 2000 words out of me; the strong silent type. Thirty years later, I’m getting there; I’ve made it to 2018, just kidding. A woman just wants to know, that you’re willing to just listen; to her heart. If you’re truly a good listener, her last 13,000 words; can be used to tell you, how much she truly appreciates your love. Then you will truly love, that she always gets to have; the last word!

  1. Great post. Good advice to men. I must admit I have spent a lot of time listening to men talk. Women also have to learn to listen and not just talk. I think I would hardly reach 20,000 words a day I like peace, quiet and do not believe in wasting time and energy on useless chat. Many blessings to you.

  2. I studied sociology in college, and I remember this being a big topic. Apparently, men and women speak roughly the same amount of words a day, though each respective gender tends to speak more depending on the context. In fact, in classrooms and board meetings, men dominate conversations. One study actually showed that when women in a classroom talked 30 percent or less than men, men perceived that women were talking about half the time, and when women did actually speak 50% of the time, the men in the room believed that the women talked more than they did.

    Pretty interesting stuff.

  3. This design is wicked! You definitely know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
