The Gift!

Are you expecting, is your heart truly expecting; a gift? Are you fast asleep, or are your souls absolutely wide awake; is your heart overwhelmed with such a feeling? Do you feel joyous, is joy rocking around within your heart tonight. This is the time of year, when your heart keeps tossing; just can’t stop turning. Your heart is in a state of anticipation, maybe because of the sheer expectation? Your heart is expecting a gift; are you finding it hard to sleep, at night? It’s the twelfth day of Christmas, can you truly not wait; to see true love. May your heart truly receive the gift, tonight!

So therefore Harken, stop for a moment and let just your soul, listen; there’s an angel singing. Listen to the pitter patter, listen to the noticeable prancing. Upon the rooftop of your heart, within the depth of your soul. The true and lasting pitter patter, can forever be felt; within the center of your beating heart, tonight. Love is the anticipation, within your heart it shall be revealed. So come one, please come all; come all ye faithful, receive this heart felt gift. On the night before, on the night called the eve; the night before Christmas!

Let your heart be joyful, let your soul be forever giddy; let the joy within your hearts, burst forth with singing. Let love be the gift, the gift that forever keeps your heart giving. Open up your hearts, receive the gift of love; may it truly make your heart, forever full. Drink until the noggin makes your soul MERRY; CHRISTMAS, is truly the most wonderful time of the year. So don’t hesitate to unwrap, this is truly a very precious gift. Love, love is the true gift, and I want to share that with you, tonight. Merry Christmas to all, and to all. May your hearts forever know, that this truly is; A Good Night!

Regifted!

The gift my heart has so freely been given, is the gift I want to share with you. It won’t be wrapped up within a nice pretty bow, it’s not about sharing pretty words; but a pretty awesome gift, the love wrapped up within the first Christmas. I could keep this gift to myself, I don’t want this to be about; how a Grinch stole Christmas. Sharing, is caring; a gift I’m regifting to you. Don’t think of this regift as a grand gesture, measure it as a heart tester. The first gift was free, the grandest gesture of love; a heart can ever behold. A gift more meaningful, than a bouquet of flowers; cherished, more than even silver and gold. A truly precious gift, given to us; swaddled as a newborn babe!

The true gift, of Christmas, shimmers with such brilliance. From a heart filled with true artistry; an amazing gift, for all to receive by design. Wise men from the east, followed the star that shimmered in the night. Gifts they brought, to reflect the overwhelming light; shimmering within their hearts. So much love, does the gift of Christmas bestows. So won’t you grant me the true privilege, to regift a love; meant to be forever regifted by design. While bustling along all the busy sidewalks, as you admire all the bright pretty street lights. May your hearts truly be filled, with all the joyous feelings of Christmas. May you feel love is in the air, from hearts regifted in love. Wrapped up forever, within the true meaning of Christmas!

The New!

Now, now is the day; today is the new. We are approaching a new year, but let’s not forget; today is also a new day. Celebrate, that you got to see a new; celebrate each and every, celebrate the new. Today is the day, to see the new; to see a new thing. Let your heart see, let your heart, behold; God is doing a new thing. Embrace today as a new, no need to wait; for a new year!

Make a resolution within your heart, that you will allow your soul to forever embrace; the new. God is ready to do, something new. See the new day in a different light, open up your heart each day; the new has already begun. You may not always see, you may not always want. But in order to move mountains, you always need to believe!

There’s a path through the chaos, can your faith truly see? That there‘s a river, within the desert; of every parched soul. Now, now is the day; today is the new. Awaken your heart, stretch, work out, exercise; your faith, and beliefs. Clothe yourself within the new, walk on faith; God’s love will be the path, to show you the way!

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Vigilant!

Does your heart keep careful watch, does your soul have a hiding place? Within this life, we will face trouble; there‘s danger all around. As difficult as they may be, there’s an adversary. He seeks to forever capture your soul, lurking; but unseen. A thief, so desperate; with just one intention. To infiltrate your heart, to get you to give up your destiny; without a fight. Be Vigilant, don’t let the thief steal your joy, your faith, your blessed assurance. Don’t let him burglarize your heart, but also don’t be alarmed; don’t hit the panic button. God’s love fights for you, His love defends you; let His love fortify your hope!

Be observant, be watchful, be very attentive; please be on the lookout. Keep your heart on high alert, be mindful; of all the underhanded schemes. Pay special attention, to all the backdoor intrusions; forever guard your heart, be Vigilant! For if the thief tried to rob our hearts of the Christmas love story. Why wouldn’t you truly think, that he would absolutely love; to forever kill your joy? Never surrender, but if your heart gets weary from the battles? Strategically retreat, into the hiding place; within the heart of the Savior!

Within this season of love, of giving; His love came, to bring Joy to the World. His love is forever Vigilant, to help fight your battles; to help give you the victory. His love has already crushed the head, of that lurking thief; put your trust and faith, in Him. What He has started in you, His love will surely complete. Let His love take your heart, from Glory to Glory; from Strength to Strength!

The Message; Clean!

My heart was dirty, my soul was in tatters. But Your heart, Jesus Your heart saw clean; Your love fixed what needed mending, a dirty rag. My glass half empty thinking, shattered; my theology, broken. God’s love restores my broken faith, piece by piece; a soul once dead, in Christ lives again. The beating heart within my chest, alive with a destination; deeper!

When all we see is imperfections, through Christ; God sees them as beautiful. When we feel we’re not worthy, Jesus shows us; that it was never about being worthy, but about being loved. When we stumble, and even when we fall; we may think that we’ve once again become too dirty. But Jesus’ love will help us believe, that the dirt is still washed away; we’re still clean!

Our dirty rags; washed, scrubbed, cleaned, purified. God’s love is forever washing; our hearts, forever washed within His sacrifice. Cleansed by His Amazing Grace; Mercy, is what forever makes us clean. Jesus, there’s nothing too dirty; no sin, that Your love can’t make clean. We may not be worthy, Thank You, Jesus! Our heart has been washed; um, forever made clean!

“Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Time!

Time, how did I ever let you slip away; not knowing if you would ever afford my heart, the opportunity to sing about a love like this? The day I opened up my heart to Your love, was the day I came face to face; with Your amazing, breathtaking love. From that moment, Your love forever gripped my heart. The heavens opened, the light of Your love shone down; right into the depth of my soul. Within that very moment in time, my heart experienced a thousand years of love. Time kept moving, it was my heart that stood still; but how could Your love not feel like a thousand years? To a heart smitten by the beauty, a soul captivated by the presence; to You a thousand years, is but a moment in time. Your love met my heart, took my soul for a walk around heaven; my heart has never been the same!

Throughout the years I stood on my faith, made it the substance that undergirded my trust; that Your love would forever be, my firm foundation. But for the longest time I was foolishly taught to believe; in order to stay within Your good graces, I had to work really hard. Follow the steps, put in the time. Only to finally realize, that kind of faith; was based in legalism. All that truly made my faith, was legally blind; to the truth. Your love renewed my mind, day after day; You made the time, to wrap Your love securely around my heart. Time goes by so fast, if I wasn’t careful; I would have missed out on Your heart, as being the true blessing!

Father, my heart has come to the realization; that at first it was about believing. But then in time it should have shifted into excepting; that it’s not about what I do, but what You have already done. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would have truly realize. Forever held, is what Your love did; from that very first moment in time. And Your love will forever do so, even until the very end of time. Time heals all wounds, but time spent within Your heart; is time well spent within Your loving embrace. A love that makes a lasting impact, a heart that should truly be our everything. Your love has been working in and throughout my soul; preparing my heart, for a time such as this!

The Message; Style, and Grace!

I’ve not only seen, but felt a love; full of so much Style, and Grace. A love that draws you in, a love so well put together; a love that captives your heart. A love that has taught my soul so much, not about just social graces; but about truly living, only because of Grace. My heart has searched, the world has tried to entice; but my soul got an early taste of heaven. My heart became full, Grace was truly enough. The things of this world, has truly lost its tasteful flavor. Jesus, unveil my heart to see; that there’s nothing truly greater, than His love. My heart is now hidden within God’s Grace. Being styled and fashioned, to look more like His perfect love!

These days my heart is not one to chase after the material, I have a love; that relentlessly chases after my heart. I’m no longer enamored, with all of the propped up distractions. They may have style, but very few; truly knows what it is, to be graceful. Most of it is surrounded by so much madness. My soul refuses to take on the madness, even if it’s socially acceptable. I’ve searched, surely looked. But I’ve found absolutely nobody greater, nothing to compare; to God’s Grace and Mercy. We all need air for our hearts to live, but all hearts need Grace. Just so our hearts can truly know, how to be forever alive; through God’s redemption plan!

Jesus, a heart You will never take, without promise; but Your love You first freely gave, before a heart even started asking. Your love is what my heart is now styling; Your Grace, what forever clothes my soul. Let Your love be the reputation, on display within my hearts glow. So many people, believe that they can outrun God’s love, with style. But ultimately all the truly end up doing, is running straight into God’s Grace. The mercy our hearts truly don’t deserve, but for those who have stopped running; Your love becomes the overwhelming Grace. I know I need it, my heart knows it’s truly worth it. Jesus, Your love is truly the real thing; that All hearts, should gracefully embrace!

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Cracks!

Cracks, lines along the surface; some, indicative of underlined signs of stress. How deep do they go, how deep will you allow them to go? If someone steps on a crack, will you allow it to break your back? There is a glue, a love that will be the cement. A love that will fortify, the soul of the broken hearted. Pour out your heart, let God‘s love; forever fill the cracks. We all have vulnerable points, that tries to separate your heart from true faith. A disconnect between the heart and the mind. Cracks within the armor, doesn’t mean you’re losing the battle; fight the good fight, let praise be the weapon!

Life comes with a lot of potholes, deep wounds can become the divide; don’t allow a pothole, be the straw that breaks the camels back. Don’t let cracks break your spirit, even the smallest hairline fracture; have the potential to turn into a truly serious pothole; even within a strong faith. Some hearts live in glass houses, and some people like to hurl stones; at what they believe to be a heart of glass. Trying to break your faith, trying to turn your beliefs into a fragile situation. He who is without sin, cast the first stone!

Don’t let indifference, or a serious case of apathy; create gaps, within a flawed belief system. Cracks that tend to form; within the smallest crevices, of a shaky foundation. That may eventually turn into an undeniable rift, between your very heart and soul. Narrow minded cracks, can quickly become a problem. If your foundation isn’t firmly built, upon the truth of God’s grace. Positive thinking is good, but it needs to be cemented; within God’s unfailing love!

From time to time I will crack a few jokes, use humorous expressions to lighten the mood; but you will never hear my heart, say an unkind word. We should never try to exploit the cracks within the fabric of others; with the intent to leave them broken, or utterly devastated. With a gentle nudge, but never with a forceful shove. Help them see that it’s not rocket science, you don’t need to crack the code. Iron sharpens iron, but a sharp tongue; can truly shatter. Even if it’s just a small crack, within an already broken heart!

Hide Me!

• When it seems like the ocean just won’t stop rising, and you feel like you’re going to drown; within your tears. There’s a love, that will help you breathe; a love with a place to hide!

• When fear abounds, and it strikes straight to the center Of your heart. Feeling like when thunder roars, and the shadows become glimpses of your past; go and hide!

• When the storms of life, beats against your soul; let your heart soar above the storm. Let your soul forever find rest, within the comfort of God’s love. Let it cover you, let His love; forever be your hideaway!

• When it’s safety you seek, but all you see; is these turbulent times. Spread your wings, move on the breath of God’s love. There’s safety within His mighty hands, let Him hide your heart; within the safety of His love!

My friends, let go, and let God. Let the Father, hide you under His wings. Let His love reign over your fears, let His love be the ocean. Let His love silence the storms, let His love be King of your heart. When it feels like you’re over your head, the floods will never overcome, in Him; you become the overcomer. The valley of shadows, His love cast out all fear. To know His power, is to know His love; be still and know. There’s quietness within His love, in that your heart can forever trust. Let the Joy of the Lord, be your strength. Physically, Mentally, Emotionally; you’re covered. Your heart will be hidden, forever within His love!

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.
