O. C. D: My Heart’s Obsession

If I were to admit, I’m not satisfied letting my heart become complacent, thinking there’s never any need to reevaluate the status quo. Repositioning my heart’s posture never allows my mind to think it has the final say. Living your best life will always require your heart to be at the centre of every decision. Would you think that sounds a bit dramatic, or that kind of thinking is a bit over the top? My heart will never be perfect; perfection isn’t a standard to bear, it just leaves your soul bare, revealing imperfections don’t ever make your worth less than. I will say this, I’m down with O.C.D. The obsessive-compulsive disorder, the sticky side of this proverbial label, just a glue used to keep the heart and mind on the same page. No one should ever think they can slap a label on my heart, and believe they have the intricacies of my heart figured out. Living obsessively to see your heart in the right frame of reference, its constant realignment to be a heart indicative of its meaningful compulsion; love’s perspective being the heartfelt purpose. Call it what you will, having an uncontrollable desire to adjust what doesn’t seem right within your heart, only seems a meaningless disorder — through the lens of a blurred perception. When love compels, the rhythm of how your heart beats may seem obsessive; but not if it makes you looking inward, making you day after day wanting to constantly improve, the position of your heart’s posture!

Love’s Anthem: Heart Check One, Two

Let love speak loud, let it be crystal clear; let its anthem rhythmically flip the script. Whenever love drops its heartfelt rhyme, it’s not an ordinary microphone; it’s another magic moment. Mic check one, two. When love leans in, tap on its heart, give it a little feedback; does it resonate, does the love speak volumes? Does it seem another plug, or deep love plugged into the right power source, giving you the best of its heart? True love doesn’t rely on the right sound quality, to reverberate effortless. Amped up verbs, might echo the sound of music, but if its intentions are not truly instrumental, how could it ever be profound? Real love has certain kind of richness, permeating its truth endless, love’s clarity experienced HD surround. Love, the heart’s finely tuned instrument, deeply felt sound waves converted; its good variation, its sweet sensation. Hearts around the world, turn up the bass. Song Inspired: When You Believe

Love’s Unchained Melody

Dearest love, you are the heart of what my soul believes. The Greatest Love of All, has no bounds. Deepest verse of a note-filled lyric, the song playing in the depth of this heartfelt melody. Day and night words pray, proof anyone hears, love echoing its hopeful rhapsody. Knowing there’s much to fear, in your embrace we’ve been moving mountains — long before a single breath knew it could. There can be miracles when you believe, that though hope is frail, tethered to faith love knows; You’ll Never Stand Alone. No heart knows what miracles it can achieve? But in love when you believe, somehow, it’s revealed to you — love’s freedom will be. Love, my heart has become so full, words can’t even explain. How tears for fear, being the most beautiful exchange, love liberating my heart and soul with its unchained melody — no fear of the unknown. Dearest love, when I need to believe, I Look to You. I Believe in You and Me, in what this will forever be. Nobody, loves me like you do!

*** When You Believe, is a song by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey — released in 1998. ***
