Cast your cares, cast your heart on the other side… of what you see. Set your sight on a new horizon, on a brighter tomorrow. Into deeper waters, into a true ocean of love. A heart ready to forever cast away… whatever tries to bind. A heart wide open, to set sail on what is an open… eyes to see. Faith, is sight beyond what can be seen. Even though your heart, may not be sure of the heading. Be sure of this one thing, your soul has a destination. Your heart gets to choose the direction, but the journey is already predestined. Most hearts tend to have a cruising speed, but tell me; who truly has the wheel?
Be in control of the love, but make sure you know what kind of rudder; is steering your heart. Even if I tried, I could never put my heart on cruise control. What drives me, is also what moves my beating heart. Life is short, a journey that takes a heart into so many tomorrows. Once the journey becomes clear, once your heart has made the choice to be free; never look back. Live it right, live it well. Live with no regrets, no guilt, no shame. But first choose to live it, within God’s love. Try not to let your heart drift off course. Even a degree off, never gets a soul… to the chosen destination. We forever need incremental changes, meaningful; true lasting course corrections!
God knows what’s best for you. His love can prepare your heart, prepare your mind; to be ready for whatever comes. With His love in control, you can never go wrong; with the strength to pass any test. Feel the need for speed, but always remember. Love for, doesn’t also mean in love with. Why, our hearts should never be only on Cruise Control. Be intentional, the will, the power; but forever a choice. Don’t let the heart and soul, be two ships passing in the night. Let the love within, be the compass that guides… the heart. You’re free to do, and even if you get off course. His love will still be there, to show your heart the way home. A life renewed, but a soul that knows how to give thanks; for such Amazing Grace!
John 21:6 ESV – “He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some…” What’s your some; Love, Joy, Peace? Cast… away, how you forever get some!
Sometimes we tend to look into the lives of others, and think how the grass seems so much greener. Your grass is growing, and you do get to enjoy it; but it’s a bit patchy. You feel like your season is almost over, so you start to wonder; when will it be your season for change? The grass may look greener, but just remember this; first look for a sign. It just might tell you, Stay… where you are. The grass on the other side, didn’t become green overnight. Just like a well manicured grass, your heart is being meticulously cared for; it’s all in the details!
This tale is not about sweat equity, so don’t sweat it. If you sow the right seeds, and love the season you’re in; your heart will surely flourish. It’s about time, seed, harvest. When love is the fertilizer, your heart will enjoy showers of blessings. Let it rain down, lift your heart to the sky; give thanks. The grass may be greener, but you didn’t see; when weeds overwhelmed. What it took to get it looking so lush; a hope in, and how much faith was applied!
• Stay off the grass, if you can’t appreciate; the place where you’re at!
• Stay off the grass, if you’re unsure; if where you’re at; is not where you need to be?
• Stay off the grass, if you’re still guessing and spelling? If the sign is just for show, not a show; what results from true grit!
So, stay off the grass; if you haven’t yet learned, how to stay the course. Shortcuts are convenient, but it’s not the path. There’s a path, that leads to greener pastures; all that’s required, a choice. To not trample on someone else’s dream, trying to get to a brighter tomorrow. While waiting for your season to change, be not anxious; God sees where you’re at. Take hold of His love, let Him take hold of your heart. Be content, follow the path set before you. It’s the little things in the choices you make, that demonstrates your character. If you’re happy and you know it, do all… of the above. In everything, truly make it a labor of love. And Stay Off the Grass, if the sign; is in plain sight!
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” Matthew 6:25-26 NIV
When the rudder seems broken, how does a heart; find its way, out of the darkness? What does a heart do, when the darkness is relentless; endlessly beating against your soul? Which way does a heart turn, when the waves are so fierce? How does a soul, absolutely lost; find its way? Trying navigate the dark, while trying to keep from drifting… off course? What does a heart do, when the rudder is utterly broken? On what can a heart forever hinge its hope, when the faith is under water? Hanging on, to such a thin piece of hope? Where does a heart anchor, the little hope it has? When it seems like the perfect storm; wants to capsize the soul?
Don’t Bow… to the pressure, forever hold Stern; to unwavering faith? When Port is on the other side, of a raging storm? When you’re scared, just trying to do you. When you’re desperately trying to fix, the holes withn your faith. The fix, don’t bail… on what you believe; let your peace be still. The awkward feelings, is when a heart is set apart; to be more than… ordinary. It’s perfectly okay, to not know the way; you just need to trust… your heart. I know sometimes, no matter what you do; it seems you’re getting nowhere. The devil is a liar, you’re not going to die; you have a destination. Shh, listen; God’s trying to tell you something!
Let God’s love, be the stabilizer. The love that takes control, let His love take the wheel. As far as the east is from the west, His love will never let your heart be… shipwrecked, His love is the lighthouse. Face the rudder, towards the brightest Star… board your confidence. On a new found hope, that your heart is finally heading in the right direction. Pivot your faith, vertical. Let His love steer your heart, into a new horizon. How you choose forever, point the rudder; in the right direction. Apply God’s love, to your hope in; His love will guide your heart. If you put His love in FIRST, your need in SECOND? Smooth sailing, into your forevermore; Sail On…
The Message; JOHN 3:16. For God so love…
In the beginning, there was a sound. A voice like a trumpet, resounding from the heavens. Let there be, and it was; The Light, casting away the darkness. Let there be, and there was; a vault. A sound hovering, over the surface of the deep. Let there be, and it was. A harmonious sound within the air, love moving within every breath. To let every imagination soar, a heart singing the sweet sound; the song of heaven. Sound off, one, two. Sound off, three, four. Sound off, five, six. Seven, the voice rested; everything sounded perfect. Love was resting, within the stillness!
We all have a sound, in each of us there is a song. A voice within, a love that should be heard. It’s not about a shout down, but how you rise up; every morning. To let the love within the new day rise. To let your heart take flight, upon the wings of a prayer. God it’s your breath, within our lungs; may we pour out the praise. With One voice, in harmony, in unison; forever. Peace, be still; to all the raging hearts. It’s the power of sound, but tune your hearts; until the pitch is perfect; good vibrations. When hearts are truly in tune, even the slightest whisper; emits a peaceful sound. This is a sound off, not a going off; without stopping to imagine the toll, from a hurtful tone!
Don’t blow a mind, help change a heart; with the rich sound of love. May love forever be, what truly resonates within. You can speak like an angel, but if it’s not grounded within a loving tone. It’s just a resounding gong, a clanging cymbal. Set it off, not with useless verbiage. But the sound of a heart forever changed, with a resounding vibrato. A strong, enriching tone. You’re truly richer, than you may even think. May we learn how to gently pull on a stringed instrument; the heart. A moment to prove, that you can distinguish the light; from the darkness? Within every moment, it’s another opportunity; to Sound Off… with love!
“Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.” Genesis 1:2-4 NIV
The horizon, the perspective, the outlook; how a heart sets the hope. With faith as the compass, the love within as the rudder; what forever guides. Hope, the wind within your sails; taking your heart into a brighter tomorrow. When the rudder seems broken, and hope a bit tattered; don’t let your soul drift off course. When the darkness beats against your soul, and waves of emotions tries to capsize the heart; don’t let your soul get lost within the darkness!
We all have a destination, knowing how to navigate the heart; will indicate that you don’t just trust, in your own abilities. Every day a soul should set sail, to discover, to rediscover; a love that blows the mind. The scope, on how a soul truly discovers? It’s when the heart truly knows how rediscover; the true length and breadth, of God’s love. Set your heart on things above, but don’t ever let your heart get shipwrecked; heavenly minded, but no earthly good. Going up yonder, not so much about the place; but the journey. The here and now, where the heart truly learns; how to broaden the horizon!
PUT, LAY, STAND; Put your trust, Lay your burdens, Stand on the promises. How you should set your hope, a heart forever fixed on a love; beyond the moon and the stars. Write a story, but let God rewrite your story; every chapter, every verse. Let His love be the story, etched upon your heart; echoing within your soul. Choose wisely, but know how to be led. Make good decisions, even when the horizon seems unclear. Each dawn chart your path, set sail; but first Set your Hope, forever on God’s love!
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:3-4 ESV
