Love: A Guide and Refuge

Love, shepherd my heart, so if I get lost in greener meadows, You could still lead my soul to find rivers of grace. Deeply search my heart, and arrest my soul, take as You will my every breath. Love, when I can’t seem to take another step, or seem to have lost my way, navigating the path of purity. Would You come find me, take me deeper into Your heart, swaddle my soul in Your deep embrace. Oh Love, make haste, restore my soul, unbecoming leaves a bitter taste. Be my luminous light, when I can’t see my way through the darkest valley. Be my northern star, when I don’t know which way to turn. Take me by the heart, and if it ever seems I’m losing the fight. Forever be the strength my heart needs, the endearing might my soul wields to conquer the unknown. There’s so much comfort in knowing, love is my greatest weapon. Love, if my enemies came to rob my heart of its joy, will You still be my refuge? Your presence is enough to fill my heart beyond words, You make my cup overflow. This one thing my heart truly knows, love I shall not want, if it’s not yet everything I need… #Psalm 23

Tonight’s YouTube Video Excerpt:

Does it feel like you’re still circling the same old mountains over and over? Let this promise in Psalm 23 guide you to the heart of God. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil — for you are with me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. And right where you are — still in the valley, still on the path — His heart is closer than your next breath. Refuel your soul with the breadth of God’s love, and the breath in your own heart will surely Exhale.

  1. Warren, this is truly wonderful and full of surrender.

Even when we feel lost, He’s still leading, still restoring, still holding us close.

Keep leaning into His love… He never lets go.
