For many of the younger years, my heart spent countless hours, mastering the art of hiding in plain sight; but sublime love would always, know how to reach into my innermost. Even submerged deep within my silent river, or lost for hours in thoughts, there was no hiding from the deafening silence. Relentless, where can a heart hide when real love, knows how to see beyond walls, relentlessly seeks to claim your heart as its own? Even these inked words not my own; love is the ink, my heart just the pen. How can your soul not help being swept, when love leaves your heart in a vulnerable place? Your soul no longer able to quietly hide, knowing love unabated searches hidden thoughts; your heart left irrevocably exposed. Hide and seek, adolescent moments, not knowing love’s mature breadth transcends hidden spaces. Heart and soul, never again able to discreetly hide, from love’s persistent gaze. What’s a heart to ever do, when perpetually love reveals to your soul what its passion does, turn fire to desire. Your soul its eternal playground, your heart love’s irrevocable hiding place.
