Wednesday Proverb; Reign in!

Love, when my thoughts become wild and indifferent, rein in my mind. When, my heart races to be right, but loosing sight, that every pursuit needs to still be love making every heartbeat skip, rein in my heart. When, comforting words seems misplaced, my soul struggling to render love’s most endearing expression, reign in my soul. Whenever, life’s problems are out of my control, but the real struggle, keeping emotions from building up passionless barriers, reign in my life. If, my words ever become insensitive and tasteless, trying to preach but not to teach… me. That love as just a verb, without elements of its healing herb, leaves a bad taste, rein in my words. In a position of change, not the same as a position of influence, love’s reign being its confidence. The moment one’s heart realizes, storms don’t come to drown one’s soul, but to test resolve, embolden one’s spirit, to perceive beyond the peripheral. One’s life finds meaningful solace, in knowing words won’t overcome, what the heart needs to let reign. Love’s rein empowers, what the gravity of every encounter needs to become, its heartfelt reign!

  1. Your words paint such a vivid picture of how love must be present in every part of our being, the mind, heart, soul, and life. Wonderfully written .
