Wednesday Proverb; Give Thanks!

Thankfulness, its humility evident, within a grateful heart. A heart deeply thankful, for its health, its strength. One’s appreciative soul, its perspective through the lens of a cognitive source. Thankfulness, embraces the significant little truths, knowing there’s nothing insignificant, about the life choices we choose. Allowing our souls an opportunity, to give thanks for the little things, and the joy it brings. What tugs the heartstrings, makes the heart sing. Moments of peace, happiness, that resides deep within every breath you take. What the heart can’t fake, what problematic moments can’t shake. What behooves, what moves, what makes the soul groove. Swayed by the roof over your head, the heart snuggles in a warm bed. Knowing there’s food on the table, making your soul able, to thrive, not just survive. Thankfulness humbles, when circumstances say, it’s okay to grumble. Not realizing, that’s how indifference tumbles, down that proverbial slippery slope. But, that’s the difference with gratefulness, at your lowest, hope meets you there. Where, it reveals the heart, exposes your soul, realigning your posture. Becoming a heart, never letting its soul take anything for granted. Some paths we choose, sometimes we lose… heart, but the journey will inevitably be, a moment to always give thanks, in everything!

*** Here in Canada, we celebrate our thanksgiving in October, and for all my American friends, celebrating thanksgiving in November; Give Thanks… Always!
