If I were to admit, I’m not satisfied letting my heart become complacent, thinking there’s never any need to reevaluate the status quo. Repositioning my heart’s posture never allows my mind to think it has the final say. Living your best life will always require your heart to be at the centre of every decision. Would you think that sounds a bit dramatic, or that kind of thinking is a bit over the top? My heart will never be perfect; perfection isn’t a standard to bear, it just leaves your soul bare, revealing imperfections don’t ever make your worth less than. I will say this, I’m down with O.C.D. The obsessive-compulsive disorder, the sticky side of this proverbial label, just a glue used to keep the heart and mind on the same page. No one should ever think they can slap a label on my heart, and believe they have the intricacies of my heart figured out. Living obsessively to see your heart in the right frame of reference, its constant realignment to be a heart indicative of its meaningful compulsion; love’s perspective being the heartfelt purpose. Call it what you will, having an uncontrollable desire to adjust what doesn’t seem right within your heart, only seems a meaningless disorder — through the lens of a blurred perception. When love compels, the rhythm of how your heart beats may seem obsessive; but not if it makes you looking inward, making you day after day wanting to constantly improve, the position of your heart’s posture!
