Breaking!

Sometimes, it seems life is trying to break you, like faith is letting you down. Leaving your heart in a place, where it feels like there’s no escape. Where, it seems hope has left you high and dry. The tears won’t fall, bitterness welling, but that’s when, you pour out another portion; love. You, can be so sure of yourself, but breathing is not so easy, in a toxic world. When tomorrow, may look just like today; misty eyes. The heart, breaking to see, the state of our humanity. The pain is felt, oh love, hear my appeal; what’s blinding you? Dreams imploding, indifference emboldened. Hearts, lying still in the dark, not letting in the dawn, the full light come in. The soul hiding, anxiety feeding, love slowly fading. Fear, wanting to break your spirit, waiting to steal your confidence. I’ve seen this, in loved ones, but this I know; burdens won’t break me, will never sway my heart. Though the tears fall, I stand tall, stand with, stand by. Until, courage whispers in the fight, stand strong. Love, has a profound role to play, be a shoulder to lean on. If, ones Will doesn’t break, then, one’s promise to be there, will never be broken. Be a heart, that will be faithful, through every season. I’m here to say, love is the most tangible thing; physical, or spiritual. Hope is found, in the arms of love. Even if, you don’t know who you are, today. Every season, has a reason, every battle a purpose; teaches resilience. If it seems, life is breaking you? Still reach out your heart, extend your hand, be faithful to love.
