Listen, poetry has a sound, some lyrical, some so magical; it enchants mind, heart, soul. Poetry has a voice, has a message, has meaning, it has sway. Don’t say no way, I’ve heard it with my own heart, it would never play my soul. Behold, it’s at the door, rat-tat-tat, at the threshold becomes your heartbeat, lup-dup. At the tip of your soul, it becomes bold, to let words take hold, with stories to be told. Listen intently, poetry speaks, to let the soul breathe. Every profound release, provokes emotion, invokes devotion, evokes revelation. Don’t suppress it, don’t second guess it, let it be… free. Love’s eclectic vibe, let it ooze, let it choose, you as its poetic muse. Open the heart, unshackle the soul, penned words released, facilitates poetry’s escape!

Love’s Fount!

There’s an endless fount, the water so refreshing, overflow spills. The nuance stills, the love fills, my peace the overwhelming chills. My bones come alive, sounds of music thrills. Words never at a loss, like an inked quill, fount within my soul cascades. Breathless, speechless, my heart pours within the reign. In the depth of my soul, the silent river runs deep, deeper than words could show. The stillness grows, my heart utters no peep. Deep in love my soul sleep, in sweet dreams my hopes keep. Every day, breathtaking another dawn, the fount welling up within me. Poetry in motion, makes my heart swell, my breath reveal the tell; my love can’t unring the bell. My fount, it is well, in my soul!
