Remember the day, lest we forget, war is never the answer. The 11th day, of the 11th month 1918; a moment in time, etched within the chronicles of history. Lives put on pause, to fight for love’s cause, because. The objective, a moment to be reflective, love is intuitive. Its might, break bars, heals scars, near and far. Lets never forget, conflicted with indifference, will never make a difference. Love restrained, what does it gain, if we’re left with a lifetime of pain? There’s no sunshine, when tears rain. Like a proverbial umbrella, love gives the heart sight, how to cover you with its might, for your soul it fights. Lest we forget, love is the ultimate sacrifice. Never looking to become a hero, just step up into its calling; honor the fallen, be a help to those in need, indeed. Stand firm, hold your position, and see… Battles are not won, being swift or strong, but whose love will endure, lest we forget!

Who knew that something so tender as love could be strong enough to fight for the cause of those who can love and be loved? Love is gentle, but love can be fierce.
