Love, oh love, life is but a breath; why, I’m pressing into You, until You take, my last breath. Tomorrow is not promised, so today within love’s embrace. I lay down my heart, to feel the power of love, pressing into my heart and soul. In the pressing, in the trusting, in the searching, in the wading; the drowning, the finding. In love’s deepest ocean, the breadth of thy love, becoming the breath in my lungs, the love ballad I sing. “Love, fear is not my future, You are. Sickness is not my story, You are. Heartbreak is not my home, You are.” My faith will stand, my hope will dream, my love will seek, my heart will yearn; depth in my soul will become, thee. Fragmented is not my portion, You are. Long winded speech, won’t become my breath. Poetic words, will never move a soul, if love isn’t in it. Love, chases the butterflies, setting the heart free, to be. A beautiful display of grace, breathless within the wings of love. When, I’m standing in the fire, my soul will be consumed, in the flame of thy love. So, my heart can rise out of the ashes, not like a phoenix, but a graceful dove. Love, You amaze me, You redeem me, You changed me. You’re my strength, my refuge, my defender. My soul, will press into Your love, to have my breath held… forever!
“I admit, that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness, that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into His abundance, so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me, to make me His own. I don’t depend, on my own strength to accomplish this; however, I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart, to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal, and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.” Philippians 3:12-14 TPT

“Poetic words, will never move a soul, if love isn’t in it.” I love that.
