I Believe in You and Me!

I believe, as far as my heart can see, true love lives eternally. I believe in always, for always would never ask of me, that which my heart and soul could never conceive. I believed, in my soul knowing this, love is not always bliss, precious moments to never miss, sealed forever with love’s endearing kiss. I believe, with you life would blossom, time would flourish, days become rosier. Years tethered, hearts deeply rooted, moments that never wither. For as love grows, its bloom therefore deepens. I believe in hopes, in dreams, and no matter how hard things seem. My love will stand guard, wielding its might, vanquishing unsavory schemes. I believe in hope, my love becoming, a candle within the window of your soul. When the chips were down, your heart my love crowned, queen; what a divine sound. To have and to hold, trust never capitulating to life’s woes. Heart and love side by side, walking through opened doors. Believe me when I say, love will never abandon us, leave our hearts for daze, at heartbreak hotel. I believe, deep love is a river flowing unrestrained, becoming an ocean. Revealing its unfathomable depth, the sustaining breadth within love’s belief. I believe, love shapes the stars, uses radiance within the heart. Enlightening the purpose to why love becomes so breathtaking, within the gaze of a starlit night. Its tapestry, echoing breathless throughout the soul. I believe, love doesn’t leave the heart wanting, for what the soul yearns, love always. My word I will defend, on that you can depend. I don’t lend my love, it’s yours always. Lost in love, where my soul is never found, bound to someone else’s disbelief. I believe in miracles, believe this love will never end. I believed, to this day still believe in love. For, love has always believed in you, and me!

I believe in you and me, a song by the late, Whitney Houston. Since 2018, I’ve taken one of her songs, and written a post on or near her birthday, to commemorate her life and legacy. She was my favorite singer, and have followed her career since she released her first album, in the 80’s. This particular song, was released as the soundtrack’s first single on December 10, 1996, which she received a Grammy nomination. for Best Female R&B Vocal, at the 1998 Grammy Awards

*Below, the previous Whitney song inspired, for anyone who wants to read:
